Furnace & Thermal Equipment Cleaning Support
Plan your next field-service project.
Furnace and thermal-equipment cleaning should be planned around the deposit, the equipment materials and the outage conditions. EGM reviews industrial buildup-removal requests with the facility’s maintenance team.

Choose a method that fits the equipment
Describe the furnace or thermal equipment, operating history, residue and the area to be cleaned. Refractory, coatings, components and access openings can affect which methods are suitable. Provide the equipment owner’s cleaning instructions and known condition information before a method is agreed.
Dry-material recovery, high-pressure cleaning or another process may be considered only where appropriate for the equipment and scope. The plant should define cool-down, isolation, entry and handover requirements. Cleaning must be sequenced with inspection and repair work so each contractor knows when an area is ready.
